iHarvest Coworking Sunshine – Helping Business Thrive

The co-working revolution has been felt all around the world – and Australia is no exception. With the number of co-working spaces in Australia expected to triple by 2030, it’s clear that more and more professionals are ditching their private leases to reap all the benefits that co-working can bring.

iHarvest Coworking Sunshine in Melbourne’s west is the perfect example of how co-working can help businesses thrive. Home to businesses of all sizes and across many industries, this innovative space, its unique training opportunities and prime location are helping members enjoy tremendous growth.

Here’s how iHarvest works for four very different businesses in Melbourne’s west.

A Space to learn and grow

For small businesses with only a few employees, iHarvest offers unrivalled access to professional facilities in the west while also encouraging growth through networking and training opportunities.

This is particularly the case for Parikshit Kikla, who has seen steady growth in his accounting business since he began using the Sunshine co-working space just six months ago.

“iHarvest has supported our growth with the training events and networking opportunities… This helps with growing and building a sustainable business, and our client base has expanded, says Principal Accounting Consultant.”
Connectivity
With regular training events, seminars and workshops, small businesses have every opportunity to learn and grow in iHarvest’s professional space.

IT professionals can be found at co-working desks all around the world, accounting for a huge 22% of all members. Adding to that number is IT consultant, Matt Kuter. Having previously based himself from home, Matt says that iHarvest’s calm, professional atmosphere offered the focus he simply couldn’t find amongst the hustle and bustle of family life.

“Coming to iHarvest gives me an opportunity to escape the house and the distractions. In my line of work being able to get some deep focus work done is essential, especially when writing code or trying to solve business problems.”

Matt also credits the ideal location of iHarvest as another major benefit for his business. Perfectly situated in Melbourne’s west and just a stone’s throw away from the CBD, the nearby Sunshine train station allows him to quickly “head into the CBD on the train for client meetings without having to take the car and pay for parking.”

Coworking

As the owner of a business primarily based in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, Jane Del Rosso, owner and founder of Business of Food, saw iHarvest’s state of the art facilities as the perfect way to expand into the west.

“Our business activities require meeting space, training rooms and community connections with other small business owners to deliver our programs. I like the new feel of the office space at iHarvest – the layout is conducive to interaction with other business owners and fosters a collaborative approach, with enough break-out areas to have a semi-private conversation without disturbing others.”

Jane also notes that iHarvest’s ‘small and intimate’ atmosphere makes it a great place to work and focus, a unique characteristic given that in 2019, co-working spaces worldwide had an average of 185 members.

Something for everyone

For a local labour hire company, the opportunity to access a huge pool of clients and candidates in Melbourne’s west made iHarvest the perfect place to base one of their employees.

“Branch Manager Kim Holloway says the ideal location of iHarvest as the ‘gateway to Melbourne’s west’ helped them achieve a dramatic increase in candidate interviews within their first month of membership.”

Although co-working spaces are hugely popular amongst start-ups and solopreneurs, the success AWX has found working within this space shows that it can also be a great opportunity to create a western hub for an already established business.

iHarvest’s mix of innovative collaborative-working areas – ‘breakout’ zones, a spacious training area and a large U-shaped sitting space – combined with access to private phone booths and meeting rooms, meets coworkers needs in one comfortable, stylish space.
With affordable casual, part-time and full-time memberships available and a free co-working day on the last Friday of every month, iHarvest is the ultimate space to grow your business.
